I am the Operations Manager and will soon be developing policies around our new DVR /CCTV system. My question is what are the pros and cons of archiving? Or do you just let the DVR rewrite? If you do archive DVR footage how long do you save it 6 months, 1 year???

Does any one know how short on officers a private prison can be before action needs to be taken.and whats the policy on the Pds system being down.

I'm putting together an Emergency Action Manual for my Detention Center and am looking for SOP's for what to do if a contagious disease breaks out, and what to do for my facility. Also what to do as far as evacuation plans for the above and man made disasters. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
