Does anyone have any data on the number of Correctional Officers in the U.S.? I mean all Correctional Officers: local, state, fed, even private. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I looking for some info. on the responsibility of the Booking / Processing Officers I am also interested on how court paper work is up dated. How many officers working in the booking / Processing area. And how many work stations (computers ) you have. The number of Inmates that go out to court daily...
