Time confirmation

I have registered for broadcasts in August and in September. I received confirmation emails but there were no times included. I have searched the pages for both and cannot find times. Please direct me. Thanks.

Hello, My Name is Rev. Aaron Jamal Ph.D., currently a member of Safer’s Advisory Board that meets at the North Lawndale Adult Transitional Center and CEO of the R.A.T.E.S Foundation as well as Fillmore Christian House of Prayer. I have found that the resources that are needed still within the community for a holistic impact has to focus on more than just the employment and housing needs of the re-entry population. I found that even the adjustments to the employment cultures that we send them to require a great deal of support after employment placement. These men and woman are learning in many cases new life styles that are in contrast to the lifestyles of those that they work along side of. Many are struggling with loneliness issues where they are without the familiar faces of their past but have not developed new relationships that are productive and supportive to their crime free and sober lifestyle. We orchestrate social events and offer forums to develop peer support that helps them in the midst of their midnight challenges as well as helping them to develop better skills in handling triggers that are socially related. We are also committed to promoting other ministries and organizations that are offering meetings and/or events that will assist in providing social outlets for this population.

Broadcast Time Verification

Hello,

I am registered to watch your broadcast (via internet) this Wednesday (7/25) and I just now noticed that the conformation I received for this has an incorrect time/region recorded. I imagine this probably doesn't matter, but I just want to verify that the viewing for "A National Dialogue: Building Bridges to Safer Communities Through Offender Employment" in New York - an Eastern Standard Time Zone - will be at 12:00PM (EST).

Here is the conformation I received:
"Thank you for registering for the live broadcast of 'A National Dialogue: Building Bridges to Safer Communities Through Offender Employment' on 7/25/2007 12:00:00 AM (Mountain Time)."

Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,

The specs for your computer to view the broadcast are minimal. You need a Windows or a Mac with either Windows Medial Player or RealONE player. Both are free. Media Player comes with Windows but, both programs can be downloaded for free.

You can test your settings by viewing a past broadcast. Here is the link to some programs that we are still streaming. If you can view these programs, you should have no problem viewing the live broadcast.

Good question. We typically don't get the streaming link for the broadcasts until shortly before the live broadcast so we don't have anything to post yet. The links for Internet viewing will be posted on the broadcast's web page when they become available.

If you want to be notified of when they are posted, I would encourage you to sign up for email alerts for the Broadcast News blog. Then you will be in the loop for any changes or updates as they happen.
