It turned into a concept called the Restorative Prison Project. It questions issues and values of "work" in prisons for the sake of working versus contributing to a community. A story of how the paradigm of isolated prisons and prisoners become part of the community within the walls. Concepts include:

Prisons and victims

Resolving conflicts

Restorative principles in a prison setting

Challenging how prisons are managed on a daily basis; a "restorative regime in a prison"

Will this work in the US?
