It's in California but it is a federal conviction. I was trying to look up the federal sentencing guidelines, but the pdf files wouldn't load. I'm waiting for the tech support response.

Hello, A friend of mine is most likely going to be sentenced 10 years for a cocaine and ecstasy possession conviction. That was his bargain. He was supposed to get 25- Life. This is his first felony and first time drug offense. The amount was pretty large, but since it's first time is there any way to get the sentence reduced below 10 years? ...
