Hi Lynette, I am not sue where in NY you are located but NYC has several programs from which to draw. Women's Prison Association, Greenhope Services for Women and Women's Opportunity Resource Center are some that come to mind. I am sure there are more but these should help get you started.

We are planning a job fair to target probationers in early 2008. Any suggestions on where to go for a guide to planning this? I seem to remember something in the OWDS training on job fairs but have not been able to locate it, perhaps it was in another NIC resource. Any suggestions and/or direction to resources would be appreciated. Thanks

I am familiar with the article and yes it has some good informaiton. There is so much to learn in this area and I have not been able to find many articles which really address it. There are a lot of variables which affect the employabiity of Sex Offenders. Keep me posted. Thanks again.
