    Sorry about that.  Our admin seg inmates are checked every hour at irregular intervals along with the rest of the population.  If we feel they are suicidal, special needs, etc. they are moved into a different unit and the checks are bumped up.

    We use Evercom.  I can't give you any information because I have nothing to do with the phone system.  We use both a collect calling system and a debit card system.  We've been with them for almost 9 years and have had very little problem other than typical inmate complaints.

    I'm not going to get into our training because it's a joke...however, yes, we are compensated 1.5 hours of overtime or CT if we are assigned as an FTO for an 8 hour shift.

    Ohio minimum standards call for 10 minute checks at irregular intervals for inmate's on special needs status (high risk, suicidal, restrained, etc.) and yes, we do practice this.

  • Resources needed: officer off-duty apparel

    Hello all...hoping someone here can help. Several of us are interested in off-duty correctional T's, sweats, etc. with 'corrections' or some type of like wording. I've searched the 'net and different uniform catalogs to no avail.  While we do work in a police department, we do not want apparel that announces us as police ...
