Can someone point me to the definition of a qualified mental health professional (QMHP) within federal rules, regulations or code? Thanks.

The definition differs by state, country, jurisdiction, tribe, etc. For policy purposes, the best approach is to list which position titles constitute QMHPs for your system. Be sure your definition does not conflict with applicable statutes. Many thanks. We have defined a QMHP within our state policies but I am under the impression that there is a definition within federal code/regulations much like the definition of a QMRP (Qualified Mental Retardation Professional) in 42CFR483.430.
