I want to advance my career and my skills and need the following help if you can and will.
I have a question for you, which I am sure you will find unusual. I work for the Idaho Dept. of Corrections, I am the Pre-Release Specialist for the Dept. of Corrections, and the only PRS for women offenders in the State of Idaho. I am the last resource for the female offenders before they leave incarceration. I help them with clothing, housing, Social Security, Voc Rehab, Schooling, etc. There is a Pre-Release/Re-entry training in April in PA, that I would love to go to. Unfortunately, due to budget restrictions, all travel and training have been put to a halt. However, the training providers have agreed to pay my registration of $275.00. My supervisor has told me that as long as I can get the entire training paid for, airfare, hotel, transportation, and food, that I can go. So I am looking for some type of sponsorship if you have such a thing. If not could you point me in the right direction? Could you please help me in my goal of going to this training with some type of donation or sponsorship? I can give you my supervisor and/or wardens info if needed. I need to get this done by Feb. 10, 2009 if at all possible. Thank you so much. Jena Reed
