    I need to know how other facilities dipose of unused prescription medications. I would like to see a policy of this process as well if anyone has one.

    There are certain state and federal guidelines that must be observed. I would suggest you contact your pharmacy supply company. If you are using medications brought in by inmates you have accepted control and they must still be disposed of properly within guidelines.
