Hello. I am a Judicial District Manager in North Carolina DOC/Division of Community Corrections. I am participating in a Correctional Leadership Developement Program with our department, and my research paper is on the efficacy of a Community Corrections Supervision Plan specific to Methamphetamine users. The intent of the paper is three fold.
1. Determine if belief that Meth users have higher revocation rates and shorter periods of supervision prior to revocation is backed up by facts and data.
2. To determine whether or not there are supervision plans already in use by other states that are effective in reducing the failure rate of Meth Users (if #1 above is proven true)
3. Adapt existing supervision plans to use by NC or develope new supervision plan if no satisfactory plans are in existance.
Any help on info and data for this project will be most welcome. Feel free to contact me directly by email.
Thanks.
