There have been a number of members that have reported that their posts in the forum are turning up blank. We have confirmed this to be a problem on some computer since the upgrade.

We need your assistance in determining what the reason for this problem.  If you are experiencing this problem, please post a message here.  This will subscribe you to this thread so that you can receive updates about this issue. 

Temporary Fix: Until we resolve this issue, here is a temporary solution that will allow you to post your messages in plain text.  The issue seems to be surrounding the ability to use the text formatting box that is enabled by default.  Using the plain textbox without the formatting option seem to work for those who have tried it.  Here are the instructions:

• From any web page at http://community.nicic.org:
• Click "Edit Profile" in the upper-right corner of the screen (you must be logged in to see this)
• Select the "Site Options" tab
• Change the "Content Editor" setting to "Plain Text"
• Click "Save" at the bottom of the page
