I have been tasked with designing a Central Intake Model for an Urban Community Corrections Adult Field Service Division. Central Intake will be responsible for the processing and quality control of between 2500 and 3000 referrals per month, to include that the appropriate actuarial based assessment tool has been completed.. Referrals will come from three sources. Those sources are Judicial Court, State Department of Corrections (Parole), and Inter/Intra State Transfers. The referrals will be for the following: 1) Bail Evalualtion, 2) Criminal Record Summaries, Court Investigations, Conditional Release, Restitution, Community Service, Transfer Investigation, and varying degrees and types of supervision.
I am looking for information and material on designing and implementing such a unit.
