Hello, everyone. I am a second year MBA student. Four of my teammates and I are currently doing a student consultant project for a client who is looking into entering the commissary sector. In addition, we are seeking any opportunity that can help facility administrators to better manage and operate the facilities. At the research stage, we are trying to understand inmate and warden's need and wants to help us better understand the key problem inside the correction facilities. We are very interested in interviewing wardens, correctional facility guards, and administrators. I was wondering if any of you are willing to have a short conversation with us to help us gain more insights and ideas for our project? We are in the Philadelpia area, we can meet in person or phone conference if you are from outside of Philadelphia. Thank you.

Victim Impact, Domestic Violence and Batterers Intervention Train the Trainer Training

Lesson Plan Format

I am looking for a simple lesson plan format. I need something easy and not too time-consuming to use. I have training sessions already developed and being taught by a diverse group of instructors. This is rather backwards, but I now need to have lesson plans for all the classes. Any suggestions?

Annual Training

PPCT Refresher Course

I am currently trying to develop a Theoretical and practical training concerning PPCT and was wondering if anyone had any ideas for this topic. I am thinking about a mandatory 4 hour class consisting of a 2 hour theoretical part and 2 hours of practical training. If anyone had any lesson plans or power point's that i could use as a referral that would be cool :) Also we just started a Cell extraction team and i was wondering about how the other departments out there run their teams and what their requirements are. Why Do We Need Training?

Hi there. I am tasked with defending the need for training within the Department of Corrections. As we all know, training is often the first place to make cuts when the budget gets tight. I am trying to write a report with both qualitive and quantative research on why training is needed by the department. It is easier to defend training when you show dollar signs, but how do we defend training in other ways? Any help or resources would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

I have been assigned the task of scheduling in-service training for our facility of approx 1100 employees. There is not a 'set in stone' way of doing this. I am trying to get some kind of organization in this office and would like to get an idea of how other facilities handle such a task. Any ideas or examples would be greatly appreciated!

I am writing a Lesson Plan for Promoting Positive Corrections Culture. Some of the things were looking at are. To explore and understand the concepts of organizational culture and organizational culture competence and to define the culture of the facility/central office. To define a set of values that promote respect, valuing of each individual, and communication that encourages thoughtful and effective decisions. To examine the many kinds of diversity and the strengths each brings to the facility. To identify aspects of the culture that might need to change or be strengthened to promote a healthy working environment.
