Missouri is currently researching the pros and cons of becoming a completely tobacco free department. We are looking for any pros and cons other states have realized since they became tobacco free or that they have found when researching the idea.

Ohio recently did just this. you should be able to contact one of the administrators in the Department and get some data from them on the pros and cons.

What is MN's policy on Tobacco? Are offenders allowed to smoke inside the buildings or in outside area's ONLY? Are the offenders there allowed to use chewing tobacco? Are staff? Where are staff allowed to smoke?
