Are you going to video visitation for cost cutting reasons; or because you are having a problem with contraband being introduced?

There are a number of companies out there that supply video visitation of varying degrees. Some have analog systems, others have IP based system, and still others have a hybrid approach. Currently, IP based systems are much more attractive for facilities because it allows them to use software to manage, schedule and automate their video visitation environment. IP based video visitation systems, such as Renovo Software's VisManager, allows counties to manage their policies within the software, allowing them to create exactly the environment within the software that reflects their actual facility. Beyond that, the software allows a number of different methods for scheduling a visits-helping facilities reduce the number of personnel needed to manage the visitation area. There are good companies that specialize in video visitation. Work with them. They have individuals on staff that work solely on those systems with the industry expertise to enhance the system and continually offer new features and functionality, Renovo Software being one of the best. Finally, have them provide you a demo of their solution. Ask to see the software features and functionality. have them prove it to you how easy to use the system is. If the system works, is user friendly, and intuitive they shouldn't be afraid to show you the solution.
