I'm an unemployed architect in Chicago and want to be involved in rethinking and redesigning our prisons. What advice can you give me?

If you want to be good at designing prisons, think about doing an intership at one, speaking to as many CO's as you can. Good prison design is all about safety and security. Nobody knows more than CO's.

MCJDS-OS wrote that nobody knows more than CO's when it comes to designing prisons.  I disagree!  Ask inmates to design it!  Jerry
