PREA National Standards, policy considerations, facility culture and code of silence with Andie Moss, National PREA Project Director for NIC and The Moss Group, Inc.
- DNA and Prosecution of sex assault cases with Denver DA, Mitch Morrissey
- Assessment and classification of potential sexual predators and victims
- Role of first responders in sexual assault incidents
- Dynamics of Sexual Assault and Reactions of offenders to sex assault with Bob Dumond, Mental Health Counselor with The Moss Group, Inc.
- PREA, Juvenile Justice and best practices for jails and juveniles
- PREA research on prison hierarchy and sex assaults in prison/jails with Dr. Christopher Hensley, Researcher and Assistant Professor with the University of Tennessee
- Investigation, conviction and prosecution of PREA cases
Who should attend? All Law Enforcement agencies, Police lock-ups, District Attorneys, Corrections, Jails, Community Correction programs, and anyone who might investigate or prosecute a sex assault that falls under the 2003 PREA law and State Prison Rape Prevention program.
