I provide tech support for a county jail, and the administrator of that jail has been unable to effectively enter your site recently, as he gets Error on Page (Line: 6 Char:49199 Error: Object does not support this property or method) whether he chooses No Thanks or Begin Survey. While he can navigate links on the underlying page, the popover remains.I upgraded his Java to 1.6 but the problem is still there. Is there some lower level that he needs? He said he has used your site frequently before this problem. Please help him use your site once again.

It's probably not a Java error, but rather a Javascript error.  We a have about 20,000 visitors a month on our site and this is the first instance of this issue so it will probably be something related to the local browser or network.

The popup is triggered by Javascript so if Javascript wasn't enabled you wouldn't see the popup.  I can think of two potential causes:

1. The browser is an older version.
2. Your firewall is blocking the javascript (AJAX) necessary to close the box.

What brand/version of web browser are you using?
