If you take a look at the competencies guide for the executive level, there is a complete list of assessments and many of them would be appropriate for the Manager/Supervisor as well.  Meyers-Briggs is great but very complicated.  A computer based assessment I would recommend that is not specific to corrections but is a good general assessment is done by Profiles International.  They have several available but I have used "The Profile."  It's a little costly, but honestly, all of them are.

Hi Joe, I have experience with a company in the Denver, CO area that has a 360 program called the Cornerstones of Success that is based on 8 different competencies.

    Their website is www.regislearning.com

    Good luck!

I am enrolled in an Executive Leadership course through the state of Ohio Department of Corrections. We did the 360 self awareness assessment as a part of our curriculum. It is amazing to see what your direct reports, peers and supervisors honestly think of you. Some in my class were really surprised at what they read. I think this tool is one of the best on the market.
