Okay, I know I'll take some heat on this one but I have to throw in my 2 cents. First let me say that I fully support different methods to reinforce training and think that the use of technology can be a great option to classroom training. However, and this is where I may ruffle a few feathers, a video is not training. A video is merely a form of input that replaces lecture and using lecture as the only form of input is a waste of time for the majority of adult learners. If however, you use short video components (vignettes) along with a small group activity, then a higher level of learning will occur.
