Good Afternoon!

Does anyone have any information on a solid tracking system for ex-offenders that is already in place?  We are looking for a database, computer program or company etc. that could provide us with the tools that we need to determine their employment, whether the education/career and vocational/ job training/transition services that we provide were helpful with their reentry.  I would greatly appreciate any information that you all may be able to pass on. Thank you.

I believe I have something that might meet your needs.  NIC is set to pilot stand-alone tracking software in Kansas.  The software is designed to be an inexpensive way to measure employment outcomes for graduates and non-graduates of the Offender Workforce Development Specialist training program. If you send me a private message with your email address I will send you screen shots and we can discuss further. 

I, too , am interested in tracking. One of the area we are addressing is work release (inmates from County Jail who are released because of court capping. We are beginning case management, including connectivity to pre job training, life skills and specific job training. We are doing it on a shoestring and would welcome any no or low cost tracting systems to help measure outcomes.

 Just wanted to let you know that I sent you a private message. But if anyone else can share their ideas/strategies on tracking outcomes on a shoestring budget I think anyone reading this forum would appreciate it.
