I am looking for an appropriate short video to play to newly committed inmates on the topic of MRSA.  It should emphasize the hygiene aspects of MRSA prevention.  Does anyone know of such a video?

From the New Jersy DOC web site...The intro says that there is a section on "practical tips for peventing infection" that you might be able to use.

"MRSA: Preventing Outbreaks in NJ Prisons" is brought to you by a collaborative effort between the New Jersey Department of Corrections and the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services (NJDHSS). The video was produced in the interest of the welfare of staff and offenders in Department of Corrections facilities who may be exposed to methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, an antibiotic-resistant skin infection of varying severity. Our presentation online now makes the video available to all interested parties.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office offers one at http://www.pbso.org/index.cfm?fa=corrections_staph, but it appears that only the audio might be working at the moment.  You might want to contact them directly.

I am also looking for such a video. FYI -the Texas Dept of State Health Services has developed a hand hygiene poster that targets jail inmates. It (and other MRSA materials) can be found and downloaded at www.mrsaTexas.org

If you read or watch any television you know about the terrible problems resulting from these bacteria. It has caused havoc and shutdown schools and other institutions.

What you DONT know is that there is a recent development in the total protection from this and other malicious bacteria.

Please understand, this solution will NOT cure those that have become infected. However, I personally guaranty that this product will prevent it from getting to you or your children.

The active agents in this non alcohol product will literally explode the bacteria that come in contact with your skin. This patented formula has just been released to the public in the past year.

Please...protect yourself and your children from a variety of bacteria and have some peace of mind. The greatest news is that the protection will last for hours after you apply it. There are absolutely no harmful components in this formula. In fact, it was designed to actually condition the skin as well! There is unlike any product available to date.

If you doubt its existence...visit my website for further information. FDA /EPA compliant

    Healthfully yours,
