This program was developed to establish guidelines for correctional staff in techniques and principals utilized by the response team in non-spontaneous situations where an offender must be forcibly brought under control and or moved from one location to another location. This program includes team movement, team roles, use of the NOVA stun shield, cell extraction and disengagement techniques.
