Training Opportunity - Thinking for a Change Facilitator Training

NE Region under NIC's Regional Training Initiative will present Thinking for a Change Facilitator Training  April 21-24, 2008. This is a 32-hour advanced level training program that will prepare participants to facilitate offender groups utilizing the Thinking for a Change cognitive skills development program.  The training is designed for Probation, Parole, Counselors and other staff responsible for leading offender groups in the Thinking for a  Change program.  The training will be held at the   William Green Federal Building, 600 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA, GSA Conference Room 2A.  Registration is required.  Fill out the NIC Application Form A downloadable at  http://nicic.gov/Downloads/ProgramForms/Form%20A.pdf  and fax or email to Louise Layton.  Fax: 302-739-5751; Email: louise.layton@state.de.us

Meals and lodging is the responsibility of participants.  Lodging is available at the Holiday Inn Historic, District 400 Arch St., Philadelphia, PA 800-843-2355.  When making reservations ask for the group rate for the National Institute of Corrections training.
