The Texas Institute of Behavioral Research (IBR) at Texas Christian University is a national research center for addiction treatment studies.  Over 400 assessment and intervention forms, manuals, newsletters, presentations and special reports are available for free download.  Major resources developed over the past 15 years fall into four categories:  risk assessments, needs and performance assessments, life-skills interventions, and conceptual frameworks for treatment processes.

Research conducted at the IBR is intended to generate and disseminate knowledge that impacts state and national policy decisions in the addictions field.  See the Orientation Guide for New Visitors and Users to obtain an overview of available resources and a basic understanding of how they are intended to fit together.
