Come and experience an excellent training opportunity, STRATEGIES FOR BUILDING EFFECTIVE WORK TEAMS, sponsored by NIC's NE Region and the West Virginia Department of Corrections Training Academy. This 36 hour training program provides participants with strategies for developing, implementing, managing, and evaluating work teams within a work unit and agency wide. It covers individual and group leadership techniques, group dynamics, work team characteristics, and ways to overcome organizational barriers to team development. Most of all, it employs highly interactive and experiential strategies that leaves participants with an exciting, lasting training experience in team building.
When: July 23-27, 2007
8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day, except for Friday which will end by 11:30 am.

Special Note: Lodging and meals will be provided at no cost on a space available basis by the West Virginia Training Academy
