The National Institute of Justice is accepting papers for presentation for the 9th Crime Mapping Research Conference to be held March 28-31, 2007 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Deadline for submissions is September 29, 2006. The focus of Mapping and Analysis for Public Safety (MAPS) is to use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial data analysis techniques as tools in analyzing criminal behavior and its impact on society.
