&lt;li&gt;In the fall of 2005, BJS began pretesting the ACASI (Audio Computer-Assisted Self-Interviews) system for conducting surveys of former inmates.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;

As of April 2006, the agency is reviewing applications from a solicitation to explore sexual violence as it occurs within the context of other violent behavior during incarceration. &lt;/p&gt;
