PREA Training for Juvenile Justice Practitioners

Personnel tasked with the supervision of offenders in juvenile facilities will want to attend this timely training. Behind Closed Doors: Preventing, Responding to, Investigating and Prosecuting Sexual Abuse in Juvenile Justice Facilities examines the impact the passage of the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) has had on juvenile justice facility operations. Over the three-day training, participants will gain the tools and resources necessary to promote an environment free of sexual assault and intimidation. Participants will also learn the proper investigative and prosecutorial protocols to employ when such incidents do occur.This training is being presented by the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission
