I think it's great that we should get jobs, its a lot of felons out here that if you do the evidence sheet over again wouldn't be convicted of anything, no matter what crime they did.  Plus it is too hard to get jobs once you're out. I am also a felon, I did service in the military, I got drunk, depressed one night and made a crucial mistake.  It's a shame for the guys that served this country to get punished on the military side as well as the civilian side.

I believe that the information might be outdated: Isn't the tax incentive for employers that is mentioned part of the Work Opportunity Tax Credit?  Eligibility for this program doesn't apply to workers hired after December 31, 2007.

I really would appreciate the government to offer or propose immediate employment, or financial assistance to certain ex-felons upon evaluation.  And even if a contract agreement was necessary, I myself have done quite some time during job research involved around work innovation, and to no avail.  The cost of living, economy is tremendous with no solutions, so I find the article very interesting.  There unfortunately has only been day laboral jobs, as well as temporary jobs, not full-time, or long term, very small hourly wages, and extreme issues through certain employers.
