The National Institute of Corrections is soliciting proposals for "TPC" technical assistance services to six states over a three-year period.  The goal of the TPC (Transition From Prison to Community) initiative is to increase the success of inmates leaving prison by improving assessment, programming, planning, collaboration, and community support.  Proposals are due March 9, 2009, with a web-based conference for applicants on February 12, 2009.  Link here for the online synopsis and full text of the solicitation, as well as application forms.  Addtional information regarding TPC is available at http://www.nicic.gov/TPCModel .
