Is Your Juvenile Truancy Reduction Program Working?

Education is an essential component in helping juveniles desist from delinquent behavior(s). If you are a person responsible for "school, court, and community-based truancy reduction programs," training is available to help you determine if your current strategies are meeting your mission and goals. The National Center for School Engagement is offering the interactive course Evaluating Your Truancy Reduction Program to equip coordinators/managers with the ability to employ a systematic approach in assessing and improving their current programs.

The training looks interesting, however, I am interested in programs using a community accountability board model for truancy. How does yours work? Who do you have on the board? What pitfalls? What successes?
