The American Jail Association (AJA) is accepting applications for the second class of the National Jail Leadership Command Academy (NJLCA). The class is scheduled for October 25-30, 2009 at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Mid-level managers are the target audience for this class. The curriculum topics include:

Save the dates of April 26-30, 2009, for the American Jail Association's 28th Annual Training Conference and Jail Expo in Louisville, Kentucky. Check out the 2009 Workshop Overview and "slide" into the many "training camps" that will address the contemporary issues facing our jails. It's that time of year to begin making your plans to attend the AJA's 27th Annual Training Conference and Jail Expo. This year's conference will be in Sacramento, California's State Capital, May 4-8, 2008. The Conference Overview and Workshop Overview highlight the training programs that are scheduled.
