This year the conference is "going to Kansas City" in Jackson County, Missouri, and so can you.  Whether you are from a county, parish, or a borough the National Association of Counties will welcome you July 11-15, 2008.  When in Missouri, you may ask, "show me" the educational workshops and conference events.  Stop by the exhibit hall and visit with the National Institute of Corrections' staff about your jail issues and learn about NIC's publications, training, and technical assistance. This is one town where you can say you're lucky to get a case of the "blues" and all that "jazz".
