In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Pretrial Services Act of 1982, a federal pretrial services training conference will be held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the National association of Pretrial Services Agencies (NAPSA). The dates of the federal program are September 19 - 20, 2007, in Cleveland, Ohio.  This conference will highlight pretrial services-related resources, alternatives to detention, increasing release rates, evidence-based practices for pretrial services, technology, and innovative pretrial services supervision programs in the federal system. The conference provides an opportunity for federal pretrial services leaders and practitioners to celebrate the history of pretrial services in the federal courts as well as plan for continued success in the future.  More information about the federal pretrial services conference will be available in June 2007.

To review the agenda and register for this conference, please visit the conference website at http://ohnpnt.ohnd.circ6.dcn/conference/index.html.
