A minimum of 95% of all state inmates will return to the community after serving their sentences. These individuals face significant issues and barriers to successful reintegration into society. The National Institute of Corrections offers a variety of resources designed to assist stakeholders in establishing principles, programs and services that effectively address the special needs of this population.

Additional Resources:

U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs

U.S. Department of Labor, Federal Bonding Program

U.S. Department of Labor, Employment & Training Administration, Work Opportunity Tax Credit
