Do You Have a "Blueprint" for Identifying and Treating Juvenile Mental Disorders?

With up to 70% of youths in the juvenile justice system suffering from mental disorders, do you have a comprehensive and effective way to manage them?  The National Center for Mental Health and Juvenile Justice (NCMHJJ) has developed a "blueprint" to assist agencies and providers in constructing a practical framework for dealing with this population. A comprehensive model is provided to develop and improve policies and programs that identify and treat the mental health needs of youthful offenders. Click to access the: Executive Summary; Full Report; and an Appendix of Key Resources. The Research and Program Brief,  A Blueprint for Change: Improving the System Response to Youth with Mental Health Needs Involved with the Juvenile Justice System may be found here.
